Padfield

Despite being by far the longest walk with your gear from parking up to reaching the banks, Padfield is still considered well worth the hike. With two stiles to clamber over its all down hill after the first to the second with just a couple of strides from there to the bank. Of course it’s a bit of a hike back again when your ready to leave, and its all up hill. But what can you expect to catch while your there. We have Carp well over 5 lb, Tench to 7 lb, Bream over 5 lb, Perch to 3 1/2 lb, Crucians to 2 lb, Roach to 1 lb, Chub and Barbel to over 1 1/2 lb. There are also a few Ghost Carp.
