Hodges

Is situated in Broadbottom down a narrow lane, with it must be said a number of rather nasty pot-holes, but when you get their it really is worth the trip. For only a small pond it does hold a surprising number of good quality fish which include, Carp to 7 lb (although not often caught), Tench to 3 1/2 lb, Bream to 4 1/2 lb, Crucians to 2 1/2 lb, Roach and Rudd to 1 1/2 lb also Perch and Gudgeon. This is not fished as much as other G.A.A.S. ponds because of its remoteness, however, it really is a good little pond.
