Dinting Back Lodge

Situated away from the busy A57 the Back Lodge is the biggest of Glossop Anglers ponds. It holds a wide variety of fish including Carp to over 20lbs it is a popular water that attracts match men, pleasure anglers, and specimen hunters. With Perch having been landed at over 3 1/2 lbs Tench over 4 1/2 lbs and Bream over 3 1/2 lbs, it is a water that has to be fished. There are also good shoals of Skimmers, Roach, and Rudd. Crucians are to be found in abundance as well, and with a large head of Carp averaging 6-12 lbs what more could you want.
